POSITION SUMMARY
Manages and leads a branch sales team with responsibility for team performance and achievement of a target revenue and gross profit. Responsibilities include retaining and expanding the existing customer base, new business, and developing community relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collaborates in the development of market and account development strategies including the creation of sales teams, business plans and territory assignments.
2. Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
3. Develops strategies to maximize market potential, take advantage of promotions, new product introductions, competitor weaknesses, and customer receptivity for new technology applications.
4. Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
5. Facilitates account development strategies on target accounts with sales team.
6. Provides and conducts on-the-job coaching.
7. Models the appropriate use of sales strategies and sales techniques in demonstration calls with sales representatives.
8. Oversees and actively participates in the sales process.
9. Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
10. Develops consultative solutions to meet customer business and operation requirements when appropriate.
11. Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
12. Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
13. Learns features, advantages, and benefits of ITS' solutions and the applications of these in a customer's business.
14. Ensures that all administrative processes related to sales are accurate and completed on time.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises up to 12 sales representatives. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; conducting monthly plan and reviews; completing annual appraisals; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Four year college or university program certificate; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Email systems; Contact Management systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current driver's license with minimum levels of insurance requirements necessary..

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent Presentation and sales skills. Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills. Coaching and mentoring experience.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated people-oriented management experience, leading a team of people. Must be able to travel 50% of the time to customer locations.
