ITS | Xerox is looking for a sales professional to come join our Managed Print Services team! We are open to hiring both experienced sales professionals as well as motivated entry-level candidates.

We are very selective in who we ask to join the MPS team as this is a specialist role. Candidates must be focused, driven, and analytical. All consultative & technical training for this role will be provided by ITS.


 Managed Print Services is an invaluable department within ITS that offers clients a consultative approach to manage their current fleet of desktop printers. 


 

The main focus of these specialists is to identify the best managed print opportunities in the present account population while also being the catalyst to drive new market share.

In this role you will:

  • The primary role of MPS is to assume a consultative approach with every client, by conducting a 360 Assessment and co-authoring a 360 Solution that optimizes the client's workflow within their office environment.
  • Work both independently and simultaneously with other sales reps, depending on the size and scope of the account.
  • Meet monthly/quarterly revenue quota expectations 
  • Penetrate present accounts further by conducting value-added quarterly reviews (ie: identify and extend additional Managed Print Service offerings and other products)
  • Maintain customer database (i.e. Soaring) by recording activity and transactions 
  • Analyze the client's business communication requirements, usage patterns, and workflow
  • Help ITS clients and prospects achieve better financial results, improve operational efficiencies, and reduce environmental impact
  • Forecast weekly/monthly objectives and deliver the results
  • Execute quarterly MPS account reviews with management
  • Maintain at least a 60:40 business mix (work a minimum of 60% transactions independently)
  • Execute accurate paperwork for each sales transaction
  • Prepare, provide and clearly convey persuasive and diversified information to clients

 Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have 1+ years in a customer focus role and/or office environment- preferred but not required
  • Have a College Degree in a Business related field (Business Admin/ Management, Communication, etc...)
  • Have advanced computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Have the ability to  influence, negotiate and gain commitment from clients; have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral, written and presentation)
    • DO NOT hesitate to ask tough questions
  • Highly organized; ability to work strategically and smart within the given territory
  • Be self-driven with a competitive nature and sense of urgency to get tasks done
  • Possess ability to interpret, comprehend and apply complex data
  • Have the willingness to learn & grow
  • Be deadline driven- able to work under stress/ pressure

 Candidate must have:

  • Valid driver's license and minimal level of auto insurance coverage required
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time at desk, in meetings, etc...
  • Must be able to travel to customer sites, meetings, company related functions, etc. (with short notice)
  • Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement!!!
